Rugelreise - Thurgau ball track trail

Ready to get rolling? On the first Thurgau ball track trail, the "Rugelreise", twelve ball tracks await families in the idyllic Murg Valley. Take the train from Frauenfeld to the Matzingen weaving mill or vice versa. The hike leads back to the starting point along a variety of ball tracks and the river Murg.

Apprentices from ten Thurgau companies were at the heart of the implementation of the marble runs. They were responsible for the design, brainstorming, realization and assembly on site.
As different as the marble runs on the Rugelreise are, they all have something in common: each station is worth discovering and invites you to get rolling. Each track between Frauenfeld and Matzingen offers an incomparable adventure and promises fun for young and old. Guests can choose a route between 2.7 km and 6.3 km along the Murg and discover the diversity of the Rugelreise.

Start rolling now! This is how it works:

1. determine route
You decide in which direction you want to go. Whether you visit all the marble runs or get back on the train on the way - both are possible. The Rugelreise mostly follows the Murg hiking trail. It is not completely re-marked. Follow the yellow hiking trail signposts and the white Rugelreise signs.
