Arbon pressing plant

The pressing plant was built in Arbon between 1905 and 1910 and once belonged to the industrial pioneer Adolph Saurer. It was used as a press shop and for frame construction. After extensive renovations, the historic industrial building has now shone in new splendor since 2018. Today, people dance, party, eat and make music in the spacious, light-flooded halls. A lounge and restaurant area on two floors and the large event hall offer plenty of flexibility and modern facilities for groups of up to 600 people.

Commandery Tobel

The Johanniter Komturei Tobel is a historically valuable contemporary witness and cultural site in the canton of Thurgau. Founded in 1228, it was a commandery of the Order of St. John for centuries. Subsequently, the place was shaped by around 150 years of imprisonment. Today, the commandery is an enchanted, dreamy place with a cozy inner courtyard and a commandery tavern amidst old crumbling walls. In addition to cultural offerings, plenty of space for exhibitions or open-air events, the friendly and uncomplicated staff offer space for private events with up to 200 people such as celebrations, weddings or birthdays.

Barefoot Brewery

According to Falstaff - Zurich's lifestyle magazine for enjoyment - one of Switzerland's most popular microbreweries is located in Thurgau. The barefoot brewery in Bürglen can be discovered with various offers for groups of 6 to 25 people. The small, exclusive, family-owned brewery offers guided tours and various tastings as well as beer-related parties and events. Private parties are also organized.
