In Thurgau , the route runs along the Thur, with a constant view of the sunny vineyards. After Ittingen Charterhouse, the route leads past Pfyn to the foot of the southern slope of Ottenberg near Weinfelden. This is one of Switzerland's heritage sites and home to some of the best winegrowers in Thurgau.
