Cinema and theater in the open air - it's finally happening again this summer. The open-air cinema and theater season begins. The best events in Thurgau are listed below!

Enjoy a movie on the water! Take a seat on a stand-up paddleboard or in a kayak and enjoy a movie in the open air while gently rocking on the waves. The SUP cinema will take place on August 15 at Badi Hörnlibuck (Rorschacherberg). Further details will follow.
The program of the open-air cinema in the Seeburgpark Kreuzlingen at the harbour is a colourful mix of blockbusters, family cinema and arthouse. As a rule, the synchronized German versions are shown. Each movie starts at 9.30 pm.
In summer 2025, the See-Burgtheater is staging "Honig im Kopf" - the emotional adaptation of the hit film by and starring Til Schweiger. In the dreamlike setting directly on the shores of Lake Constance, the audience will experience a moving story about family, love and forgetting. The Kreuzlingen open-air theater approaches the subject of Alzheimer's with subtle humor and great humanity - honest, tender and full of life. Director Giuseppe Spina stages a play that will be remembered for a long time.
The program in Arbon is pretty much identical to that in Kreuzlingen, i.e. a colourful mix of blockbusters, family cinema and arthouse. The location is also just as atmospheric as in Kreuzlingen: With a lake view in the Quaianlagen in Arbon. As a rule, the German dubbed versions of the films are shown. Each movie starts at 9.30 pm.
For the 35th time, the Open Air Kino Frauenfeld invites you to unforgettable movie nights - in a very special setting: the atmospheric courtyard of the State Archives. From 9.15 pm, hand-picked arthouse gems flicker across the screen in their original language with German subtitles - sometimes touching, sometimes thought-provoking, sometimes simply enjoyable.
