Hörnli-Bergland - A landscape full of life
A unique natural and cultural area in the heart of Eastern Switzerland - one of the most beautiful and valuable landscapes in Switzerland stretches around the Hörnli, the Tössstock and the Schnebelhorn. As part of the Federal Inventory of Landscapes and Natural Monuments of National Importance (BLN), the Hörnli-Bergland is a place of diversity, history and recreation - united by nature, culture and people.
Our vision: Working together for a sustainable tourism region
The tourism organizations Standortförderung Zürioberland, Toggenburg Tourismus and Thurgau Tourismus are working hand in hand to strengthen the Hörnli-Bergland as a natural living and recreation area.
The focus is on:
- Experience nature: forests, meadows, ravines and Nagelfluh geology as a hotspot of biodiversity
- Experience culture: building culture, forestry and agriculture, crafts & customs
- Sustainable offers: Nature and culture education, regenerative tourism formats
- Corporate volunteering & biodiversity missions
