Pirate school

How does it work?

The Pirate School is a game: at various excursion destinations, tasks await the little pirates to help them learn the skills of the real, big pirates. As a reward, pirate figures, pirate items and pirate coins can be collected using the web app. Once you have collected enough treasures, you receive a diploma and move on to the next class.

1. orientation
Real pirates get their bearings by looking up at the sky. The sun, moon and stars know where to look. For pirates in training, however, there's a treasure map (here or in the web app) to help you find out where Huberta and Zaus have hidden the treasures. Plan your own individual haul. Real pirates travel by public transport: Take the Untersee and Rhine shipping company by sea and the Thurbo regional train or Postbus to the next pirate post by land.
2. solve tasks
In order to obtain the pirate diploma, pirate skills must be learned and put to the test. For example, on the pirate ship in Seeburgpark in Kreuzlingen, the Pirate School's dry training ground. Or on a treasure hunt on the Arenenberg. Huberta and Zaus have also created treasure islands, which have to be found and coins collected.
3. collect rewards
You can store the pirate items you have collected and the coins you have found safely in the web app, your personal treasure chest. With the web app, you can also equip Huberta and Zaus with the pirate items you have collected and bring them into your surroundings using augmented reality. Equip yourself too and pose with them in front of your real surroundings. These poses can be captured as photos and shared with your friends and family on social media, for example.
