Together with you and the climate protection organization "myclimate", Thurgau Tourism is committed to our climate and the sustainable development of tourism in the Thurgau region.

Thurgau is known for its green expanses, the picturesque Thur and Murg valleys, the idyllic Seerücken and the glistening Lake Constance. In nature, we recover from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and recharge our batteries. But it is precisely this recreational area that is endangered by advancing climate change and environmental degradation. This is why Thurgau Tourism has decided to take responsibility and, together with its guests, help to ensure that our children and grandchildren can also enjoy and relax in unspoiled nature in the future. As part of the myclimate foundation's "Cause We Care" climate protection initiative, we are committed to local and global climate protection. Cause we care. Thank you for helping too.
And this is how it works
When you book an offer on our booking platform, you automatically make a small contribution of 1.2 % for sustainability and climate protection. We at Thurgau Tourism double this amount. Part of it goes to the climate protection organization myclimate, which uses it to support an international climate protection project. Three quarters of the amount goes into a "Cause We Care" fund. This fund is used to finance local sustainability and climate protection measures. Together, we achieve a double impact. Locally and globally for the sustainable enjoyment of our natural environment. We use this money to support an international climate protection project run by myclimate. At the same time, we invest in local climate protection and sustainability measures.

What you accomplish
When you book your accommodation or experience, you can make a double impact with a small contribution to "Cause We Care": globally by supporting a myclimate climate protection project, where your help promotes sustainable development in places where this is particularly necessary. Locally in Thurgau , we supported the Around the Bodensee CleanUp. With immense personal commitment, Noemi Solombrino runs environmental education in this project and organized around 50 guided CleanUps in 2023 with almost 1,800 participants who collected almost 15,000 liters of garbage on the shores of Lake Constance. Now TGT is also involved! Together, we want to keep our greatest tourist asset clean and ensure that you can continue to relax in the most beautiful natural surroundings on Lake Constance in the future.
