Vinorama Museum Ermatingen

The Vinorama Museum in Ermatingen has been in existence since 2003. It is located in the stately business and residence of the Ammann family, who came from the wine-growing and wine trade.

In the "Phoenix" villa, which has been extensively restored, stately living around 1900 is shown and in the former horse stables "Remise" the history of viticulture on Untersee, the political and social upheaval in the 19th century and the medieval relationship with Reichenau Monastery are presented. Also of interest are the effects of the Council of Constance on the entire region and the events of the Swabian War on Untersee, which the museum also reports on. Guided tours through the Vinorama Museum Ermatingen or guided walks through the village and vineyards are also available for groups.
