Swiss sugar

Swiss sugar
The Aarberg and Frauenfeld plants have been processing beet into sugar and valuable by-products for over a hundred years. The entire production chain for obtaining sugar is designed according to the criteria of maximum sustainability.

How is sugar made? How many beets are processed into sugar in Frauenfeld? How long does it take to turn beet into sugar? These questions and many more are answered on a tour of the factory during beet processing.

Tours of the factory are held during the harvest season from mid-October to the beginning of December.
