Pilgrim Brewery Fischingen Monastery

Pilgrim Brewery Fischingen Monastery
Pilgrim beer comes from a genuine monastery brewery. It is brewed in Fischingen Monastery using monastery water and traditional recipes from the monks' brewing tradition. The result is tasty, exceptional Thurgau craft beers.
The Benedictine monastery in Fischingen is the last active monastery in the canton of Thurgau. What is also actively practiced here is beer brewing. Around 15 different Pilgrim craft beers are produced in the monastery brewery. The wood barrel-aged Grand Crus with up to 16 percent alcohol and stored in the 300-year-old monastery cellar are famous. But the abbey beers, brewed according to recipes handed down by the Trappist monks and served in champagne bottles, are also a treat for the palate. Pilgrim craft beers are available in the brewery store, in the monastery restaurant or in the online store. Beer enthusiasts can discover this vibrant brewing culture during bookable brewery visits with beer tastings for groups. The Pilgrim Brewery welcomes individuals on the first Saturday of every month for a guided tour and tasting. For the many friends of Pilgrim beer, the brewery regularly organizes events in the monastery courtyard.
