Cantonal Library Thurgau

The Thurgau Cantonal Library offers the diverse services of a modern library: Books, newspapers, magazines, music, audio books, films and a comprehensive digital offering. It is also a cultural and social meeting place for the region.
A place to read, study and linger...
A large reading room, WLAN, PC and various individual workstations are available for catalog and Internet research and enable in-depth work. The cantonal library also offers access to numerous digital services, including a press portal with over 300 mainly German-language daily and weekly newspapers, language courses, film and music streaming and several platforms with e-books, e-papers and e-magazines.
The largest cantonal library is also the central collection and information point for Thurgau literature. It houses a remarkable historical book collection; old, valuable, even unique works (manuscripts, incunabula and old prints), many of which come from Thurgau monasteries that have been dissolved.
