The five spacious Jacob 1808 vacation apartments for two to four people are located in two houses in the heart of the historic baroque town of Bischofszell. They were home to cloth merchants, master saddlers, innkeepers and even Bischofszell town councillors. This historical heritage, and thus the soul of the houses, was preserved during the careful renovation with the help of the Office for the Preservation of Historical Monuments. Instead of dividing walls, passageways were created between the two houses so that they present themselves as a unified whole. Historic monastery tiles, creaking floorboards, impressive stucco ceilings and wood paneling, paired with modern furniture, bathrooms and kitchens, create a wonderful composition of historical elements and stylish contemporary comfort.
