Vacation cottage Hof Alten

The Alten farm is located 3 km east of Bischofszell, near the river Sitter. It is home to dairy cows, 2 Shetland ponies, cats, dwarf rabbits, chickens and a dog. Families and nature lovers can enjoy a vacation on the farm in the small vacation cottage.

The vacation cottage is located slightly away from the farm buildings with a view of the pastures and riverside woods of the Sitter. In addition to beautiful views, the river also offers a bathing beach and barbecue facilities just a ten-minute walk from the vacation home. The two-storey accommodation offers space for six people (4 adults, 2 children) with an eat-in kitchen, two bedrooms and a living room with two beds. The seating area with fireplace, a balcony and a playground provide plenty of outdoor fun in the fresh air. The farm animals look forward to visits and petting. Various hiking and cycling trails run nearby. The Hudelmoos, the Sitter ferry and the Hauptwil ponds invite you to discover nature or enjoy a swim. Lake Constance, the city of St. Gallen and the hiking area of the Alpstein mountains are also just a 20 to 30-minute drive away. Dogs are welcome.
