Cinema Luna
Cinema Luna was founded in 1994 by the Frauenfeld Film Friends Association. Since 2011, it has been housed in a new building right next to Frauenfeld train station.
The two screens exclusively show studio or arthouse films in their original language with German subtitles. Around three new films are shown every week at Cinema Luna, with almost 200 films screened each year. In 2014, the Frauenfeld film lovers were awarded the Culture Prize of the Canton of Thurgau for their Cinema Luna, and in 2015 they were awarded the City of Frauenfeld's Recognition Prize for 25 years of open-air cinema.
