The blaswerk in Weinfelden is a master workshop for brass instrument making and woodwind instrument repairs. Traditional craftsmanship combined with contemporary production techniques and modern tools can be marveled at.
In the "glass" workshop, visitors can experience first-hand how brass instruments and clarinets are made. Even non-musicians can immerse themselves in the world of a centuries-old craft tradition and marvel at how instruments are made. If you feel like it, you can also try your hand at instrument making. In the workshop, you can look over the shoulders of the instrument maker and learn some of the secrets of instrument making. The whole thing is supported by multimedia. Workshops for musicians on the subject of instrument care or mouthpiece workshops are also held on the premises.
