The earth orbits the sun once a year. This changes the appearance of the starry sky. Come with us on this journey...
We live on a very comfortable spacecraft - the Earth. Every year, our planet makes a long journey around the sun: almost 30 kilometers every second. In one year it is over 940 million. We look at the sky from this vehicle. When we look at the sun, it seems to shift a little further every day against the background of the incredibly distant stars. As a result, it moves through the twelve constellations of the zodiac on an annually repeating path. On this path, it passes numerous beautiful objects in the starry sky: richly formed star clusters, gas nebulae and galaxies. But these are only an incredibly distant background. With today's large telescopes, we open our eyes wide and marvel at the beauties of the universe.
From 8 years. Duration approx. 60 minutes.
