Experience the Hohentwiel steamboat on this special day. Embark on a fascinating journey including dessert, hot drink, water and juices.
For some, it is a journey into the past. For others, it is a journey into the heart of the beauty of Lake Constance. An unforgettable experience for everyone and two hours full of history, technology and relaxation.
Some will know: designed in 1913 by the German engineer Eugen Kittel on behalf of the Royal Württemberg State Railways, the Hohentwiel was used in the early years for representative purposes by the Royal House of Württemberg under Wilhelm II, among others. Other crowned heads, such as the King of Saxony, enjoyed a truly majestic journey across Lake Constance.
Then as now, there is hardly a more beautiful place to be enchanted by the lake than on board one of our ships. During the afternoon cruise in the footsteps of King Wilhelm II and his connection to the Hohentwiel, you will delve deep into history with our captain's stories and learn fascinating details about an elegant steamer that many consider to be the "Queen of Lake Constance". If you wish, you can also simply sit outside on deck and enjoy the beauty of the lake in all its facets as you sail past.
