City history The town of Kreuzlingen developed from the three villages of Egelshofen, Kurzrickenbach and Emmishofen. The monastery "Crucelin", founded in 1125, gave the town its name.
City history The town of Kreuzlingen developed from the three villages of Egelshofen, Kurzrickenbach and Emmishofen. It was named after the "Crucelin" monastery founded in 1125. The exhibition room provides an initial insight into the town's development. Among other things, a model of the monastery at its first location at the gates of Constance is on display.
