Colors, shapes, attitude: Street Art Festival Frauenfeld
The festival kicks off with a festival that lets walls speak: From June 13 to 15, 2025, Frauenfeld will become an urban gallery. As part of the Street Art Festival Frauenfeld, international artists will transform grey facades into colorful statements - sometimes loud and bold, sometimes poetic and sensitive. The festival celebrates urban art in all its facets and focuses on encounters, dialog and creative diversity. Beats, bass, encounters: Open airs in Thurgau
When the days get longer and the nights get warmer, it's open air season. The range is broad: from the small, fine Openair Bischofszell with hand-picked acts and a family atmosphere, to the cross-genre Krach am Bach in Seebadi Tägerwilen, to the international Openair Frauenfeld, Europe's largest hip-hop festival, which will once again delight tens of thousands of music fans at the beginning of July. The stylish SummerDays Festival on the shores of Lake Constance in Arbon also attracts a diverse audience every year with its pop, rock and electronic sounds and guaranteed sunset.

Scenes in the spotlight: theater under the stars
Those who prefer quiet sounds and great stories will get their money's worth at Thurgau's open-air theaters. This year, the See-Burgtheater with a view of Lake Constance in Kreuzlingen is staging the successful film "Honig im Kopf" by and starring Til Schweiger. With subtle humor, it creates a touching approach to the topic of Alzheimer's, which is fraught with uncertainty. The Hagenwil Castle Festival combines theater with a unique castle ambience in the courtyard of the historic building. The program includes a sophisticated mix of thriller, comedy and espionage story from the British crime classic "The 39 Steps".

Big screen in the open air: open-air cinema with a view of the lake
When dusk falls over the lake, Thurgau becomes a movie backdrop: With two charming locations in Kreuzlingen (Seeburgpark) and Arbon (Seeparksaal), the Coop Open Air Cinema makes you want to enjoy a movie under the stars. Blockbusters, classics and surprise hits are screened - lake, snacks and summer night included. For the more adventurous, there is the innovative SUP cinema at the Hörnlibuck swimming area in Rorschacherberg. Sitting on a stand-up paddleboard, enjoying a film on the water is a unique experience.

Moving all around: slowUp Lake Constance 2025
The summer is crowned by movement and encounters at the slowUp Lake Constance on 31 August 2025. The 40-kilometre circular route leads car-free through the region between Romanshorn, Amriswil, Roggwil and Arbon. Clear the way for cyclists, inline skaters, unicycle artists and all other muscle-powered vehicles. New this year: in Steinach, a specially set up water sports zone invites you to take a refreshing break with a view of the lake. Fun for young and old alike.
